Principal's Message *

Greetings Knolls Families,

On behalf of the entire Knolls staff, I would like to warmly welcome all new and returning Knights to the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you and your family have enjoyed a restful summer and found time to make special memories together.

It is with great excitement that I return to Knolls Elementary as your principal. Returning to Knolls truly feels like coming home, and I am honored to once again serve this incredible school community. Although much has changed over the past four years, what has always remained the same is the incredible spirit of the Knolls community. I am excited to reconnect with familiar faces, welcome new families, and continue building on the strong traditions that make Knolls such a special place. Whether your family is new to Knolls or has been part of our school for many years, I look forward to partnering with you to provide every student with an engaging, challenging, and high-quality educational experience where students come first.

As a parent and educator, I recognize the importance of a strong home-to-school partnership. By working together, we can ensure that every child is supported academically, socially, and emotionally. Open communication, collaboration, and mutual trust are essential to student success, and I encourage you to reach out throughout the year with any questions, ideas, or concerns.

Throughout the summer, our teachers, office staff, custodial team, and district personnel have been working hard to prepare our campus for the first day of school. From preparing classrooms and campus facilities to planning engaging lessons and managing the many details that come with the start of a new school year, countless hours have gone into ensuring Knolls is ready to welcome students back. I am incredibly grateful for their dedication and commitment to our school community.

This year marks Knolls' 10th year as a Project-Based Learning (PBL) school. Our PBL approach continues to provide students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences that foster collaboration, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. We are excited to continue building on this strong tradition while inspiring students to become confident learners, creative thinkers, and compassionate leaders.

School begins on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. We are excited to welcome our Knights back for another year of learning, growth, and new adventures. Information regarding class assignments, TK/Kindergarten Orientation, and other important back-to-school events can be found below in this newsletter. Additional information and reminders will be shared in future newsletters as we prepare for the start of school.

At Knolls, we remain committed to creating a learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Our goal is to help every child grow not only academically, but also as confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children each day. It is truly a privilege to be part of their educational journey. The Knolls staff and I look forward to an outstanding school year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and memorable experiences.
